Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to work on long-form content I am proud of. I am highlighting work from two organizations I worked at on a full-time permanent basis: Peninsula Canada and My Wine Canada.

I spent roughly over a year as the in-house copywriter at Peninsula Canada. The company operates in the B2B space, providing HR support for small-to-medium-sized businesses. Essentially, they act as an HR department that can't afford an in-house one.

I also worked as an intern at a company called My Wine Canada. This is an e-commerce brand that specializes in Canadian wine and provides access to wines from other provinces that Canadians may not otherwise have access to.

Below, I've shared links to blogs I worked on while at these organizations that I'm most proud of from my time there.
Blog: What is Offboarding? Here’s Everything Employers
Need to Know (Peninsula Canada)
This blog for Peninsula Canada provides employers with advice on how to effectively wrap things up when an employee resigns. This includes tips for holding exit interviews, collecting equipment and more.

Blog: Wine Club Feature - Ferox by Fabian Reis
(My Wine Canada)
Each month, My Wine Canada, through its sister brand Wine Club, sends its subscribers a box of currated box of Canadian wine featuring bottles from a spotlighted winery of the month. And to inform our subscribers of what they had to look forward to, I would write up a blog introducing them to the winery and the wines that will be arriving at their doors. This blog, in particular, was for April 2025 and focused on Ferox by Fabian Reis - an Ontario-based winery located in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Blog: Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Guide
(Peninsula Canada)
My work at Peninsula Canada revolved around two key areas: Employment Law (e.g., termination rules, minimum wage, etc.) and occupational health and safety. There are many health & safety laws in Canada that employers must abide by or else they could receive hefty fines. This blog aims to be a comprehensive resource for employers in Alberta that keeps their workplace safe and their business fine-free.
This blog still receives a high amount of traffic (200+ monthly page views), with many Alberta employers saying they return to it often to answer specific H&S questions.
